For any of you who know me I have never hidden the fact that Tillie Cole is my favourite author of all time. Her books are so beautiful and every word she writes is truly inspiring. So because the sequel to Raze will be out soon I have decided to write a little review for this stunning book as I had not yet started my blog when this was released.
Raze will be one of the best books you will ever read. Raze and Kisa's love story is so deeply heartbreaking that i still cry everytime i think about it. Raze is one of the most complex characters i have ever read with his memory loss and the amount of torture and pain he has been through. He is such an amazing hero and he makes himself so vulnerable when he is with Kisa that you can actually feel the love these people share. I say people because they are so much more than characters. I have to literally remind myself at times that these are fictional characters and i need to put down the ben and jerry's ice cream.
Kisa is such a likeable heroine and has had to make the best of the terrible situation she finds herself in. However, it is not until later in the book you realise just how strong she is and the extent of what she will go through for Raze. You can't read this book without gazing at this couple in awe.
I can't even begin to tell you how much you need this book in your life. Really any Tillie Cole book but as Reap shall be with you shortly make the best decision you may possibly every make and purchase Raze now.
